CASTLE MINI STAGES RALLY 2009

Castle Automobile Club hosts their annual Mini Stages rally this Sunday 6th September 2009. The Club kicked off with their rally launch on Wednesday 26th August at the Oldcastle House Hotel, represented by manager Laura Clinton and Clerk of the Course Mark Monaghan. The Castle House Hotel is proud to be the main sponsor again this year, and sees host to the rally’s headquarters.
The rally kicks off with two stages Sunday morning -north and west of Oldcastle, with a repeat of the two stages in the afternoon after a mid-day service in the Respa Bed Factory Grounds.
As ever this annual event promises to be successfully supported with top entrants coming from all over the country to tackle the stages in North Meath and Cavan. With a large number of local drivers participating viewing points on the stages should be a hive of activity.
For those of you that would like to follow the event, programs containing maps and entry lists can be obtained in the local filling stations and shops from Friday 4th September.
Once again we are privileged and delighted to have the Castle House Hotel as our main Sponsor for this year's Mini Stages Event on 6th Sept 2009. We have chosen super stages that have previously been used by Circuit of Ireland back in 1989 - which the great Colin McCrae and father Jimmy excelled in.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our organisers, marshals, competitors and sponsors for their contributions over previous events. Despite difficult times we are looking forward to a full turnout. Furthermore, we are expecting overseas entries.
